Plan for Windows is a project planner which is similar to, and compatible with, Microsoft Project. It is supported on Windows 7/Vista/XP/NT/2000 based desktop PCs. Plan for Windows can be used to directly read and write Microsoft Project files (MPP/MPD/MPX can be read, MPD/MPX can be written)* and is an inexpensive alternative to Microsoft Project. It does not have all the features of Microsoft Project, but this makes it much easier to use and a highly cost effective alternative.
